    The role

    Sales Representative to successfully manage a territory of existing accounts, drive new business initiatives, and contribute to growth of the company.

    This is a permanent full-time position with exciting benefits, including a company car and commission. The head office is based in the western suburbs of Brisbane, catering to clients in the great metropolitan area from the Sunshine Coast to the Gold Coast and out to Toowoomba.

    Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

    • Manage a territory of existing accounts, including the diligent servicing of major accounts.
    • Develop and maintain relationships with major customers to minimize account loss and increase revenue.
    • Proactively target and win new customer accounts in line with the business sales strategy.
    • Maximise the profitability of existing customers through the introduction of new products, rate increases and proactive account management.
    • Maintain a focus on new customer and pipeline initiatives.
    • Proactively source business that reduces relocation costs through the movement of equipment under load.
    • Manage costs associated with sales and marketing in line with the budget.
    • Manage sales and financial reporting in line with the sales territory.
    • Develop an autonomous and independent role with the intent to be active/on the road in the marketplace four to five days a week.

    The Candidate

    • Preferred experience as a territory sales representative
    • Suitable aligned industries would be within contractual service industries ie. transport, logistics and packaging.
    • Strong understanding of customer relationship management systems.
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
    • Strong data-based management and above average PC skills.
    • Ability to identify potential account opportunities.
    • Strong sales skills with an ability to close deals.
    • Previous experience with technical long sales cycle preferred.
    • Hold a current driver's license.
