About our client

Join a leading building materials manufacturer known for its commitment to safety, quality, and efficiency. With a strong reputation in the industry. We're seeking a skilled Administrator and Customer Service Operative to join their National Customer Service team. You will provide a high standard of customer service and play an important role in the efficient processing of orders and administrative support within a bulk logistics environment. You will handle general customer enquiries, data entry, and order scheduling, ensuring products are supplied from major Distribution Centres across Australia.
This is a 6-month contract role with the possibility of full-time employment at the end of the contract.

What you'll do

You will be able to work Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM to 3:00 PM and this role will be responsible for the following -
·Provide consistent and high-quality service standards to our customers, embedding a First Time Right approach.
·Process and enter customer orders efficiently and accurately to ensure optimal capacity and efficiency.
·Demonstrate strong data entry skills with attention to accuracy and speed.
·Work effectively in a fast-paced environment, managing priorities and meeting deadlines.
·Handle customer enquiries, orders, escalations, and complaints in a professional manner.
·Build rapport and maintain relationships with customers and key internal stakeholders.
·Ensure business compliance with relevant governance requirements.



What you'll need

The successful applicant will be driven by customer satisfaction and will have a keen eye for detail. With demonstratable experience you will enjoy working within a fast-paced role.
·Minimum 1 year experience in a similar customer service or administrative role.
·Strong data entry skills and experience working with large volumes of information.
·Prior experience in logistics, building materials, or manufacturing (advantageous).
·Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook & Excel) and SAP experience (highly desirable).
·Exceptional phone etiquette and strong computer literacy skills.
·High attention to detail and a problem-solving approach. Adaptability is your strength!
